Thriving by creating a plan for the future.
Over the past few years, Belt Tech has completed major
expansions and continues to grow in the Tennessee and
Alabama markets simultaneously. The company has broadened
into the industrial services sector. Despite these exciting new
developments, Belt Tech has remained committed to the
coal market traditionally served. An additional 8,000 square
foot warehouse in Virginia to house products focused on the
coalfields’ needs has just been completed.
“With three decades of experience in the conveyor belt industry,
I came to work for Belt Tech because of its reputation of integrity,
demand for excellence, and dedication to its employees, said
Russ Helms, V.P. sales. “Justin has assembled a dynamic
and well-experienced leadership team. Now more than ever,
Belt Tech is positioned for enormous growth both in service
and product sales. We believe that there is still growth to be
found in the shrinking coal market as well as aggregates, wood
products, and metalworks. This is an exciting time to be a part
of this organization.”
Belt Tech embraces change and is committed to a new era
in the company’s future growth, based on its tradition of quality
service. It continues to grow from that solid foundation using
a vision from leadership, buy-in from employees, support from
quality manufacturers, and focus on client’s needs.
ICL America-Scandia, Superior Industries, and other quality
manufacturers have approached Belt Tech in the last few years
because of its success and reputation.
“Our product line and Justin’s vision for Belt Tech’s growth had
similar goals,” said Gary Porter, sales director for ICL America,
Ltd. “Justin was entering into the conveyor belt and components
market, and we had discussed how the business relationship
would be mutually beneficial. We are always looking for new
growth opportunities, especially in the coal mining market,
with companies that have the relationships with the consumer
and the ability to both supply and install our product. Our
mutual growth has been exponential with Belt Tech stocking
our products for immediate response to the consumer needs.
The benefits to the customer have been phenomenal. Working
and growing with Justin and his team was one of the easiest
decisions ICL America Ltd. could have made.”
Talent from the industries that Belt Tech partners with and
serves have come on board to propel the company to greater
success. With each new team member comes a change not
always out of necessity, but as ideas for improvement. Belt
Tech was solely in the business of vulcanizing belts and
transformed into the distribution and installation of belts along
with cleaners, conveyor components, and pulleys. At the core
of all this success are the people and commitment to the vision,
quality, and the company.
